With the help of this template guide, it is possible to transfer the exact flange pattern of the THE-Upgrade RS4 / S4 B5 intake manifold to the cylinder heads.

The protruding edges are marked with a pen, to then adjust with a porting tool or like.

This achieves the greatest possible flow.
 
On the right side, two holes are marked with 6mm. These must be drilled to 7mm if thick head gaskets are used.
